Top 50 Songs of the Year 2020

Today I have my Top 50 song of 2020 for you. This list kept changing and it was incredibly hard to choose the top 50 and then put them in order. However, I hope you enjoy this list or discover something new. There was so much amazing music released in 2020 and there were a lot of one off songs or singles for albums out next year, so some of those may be making appearances as well as some of my favourite album tracks from the year. And there you have it, my top 50 songs from 2020. I think this year more than most music has been something of a positive in our lives and keeping us (well, me) sane with the world in chaos around us. I think that's something that made this list so hard to put together as all of these songs have been in constant rotation for me and have helped me in some way, whether that was when I was dancing to them in my bedroom or lying in bed at 2am, with my friends in the garden or on walks alone. There's so many more that have been a part of the story as well but if I included them all this list would take hours to go through...so I stuck at 50.

When I started this blog back in January I had no idea how important music would become this year, even more than usual, which is saying something. It has also been something for me to work on and have a distraction with during those months of lockdown. I have really enjoyed writing these posts this year and hope to continue next year, but it really was something that helped me this year. So, I want to thank you all for reading and listening along with me this year, your support truly does mean a lot to me.
